Experience the sites and sounds of people who have shaped the Arabian horse breed and hear excerpts of their story in their own words. Information about Arabian horses that have come from several countries is included and will be updated periodically.
As you tour the various sections, you will find that the Spanish section is the most developed. This is a result of an inquiry from a new organization named SPAN (Spanish Arabian Network) which wanted to know how much information we had on the Spanish Arabian horse that could be used to educate and promote the SPAN members and the public.
In doing this research, we reviewed several hours of video and audio tape and a mound of printed documents and literature. We then used our computer data base to do some basic studies. The information we have published here is only a sampling of the material collected on the Spanish bred Arabian Horse.
To get the full benefit of this section, you will need a sound card and a graphics card in your computer. You will also need to be using the Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 (highly recommended to best experience all features) free download ,or Netscape 4.0 or higher browser software. We have kept the file sizes as small as practical and used video or animated gifs only when motion is the message. When learning history on the web, the quality of the experience is more important than the download speed, in my opinion.
